Crust
1 lb Lean Ground Beef
1 TBSP Parmesan
1 TBSP Purely Cajun Seasoning
1 TBSP Italian Seasoning
1.5 c Spinach, Chopped Finely
Italian Sausage
1/4 lb Ground Pork
1/8 tsp Anise Seeds
1/2 tsp Purely Cajun Seasoning
Other toppings
1.5 c Baby Spinach
1/2 c Sliced Tomato
1/2 c Red Bell Pepper
1/2 c Rao’s Marinara Sauce
1 TBSP Purple Onion
1.5 c Mushrooms, Raw
1 c Part-skim Mozzarella, Shredded
1/2 tsp Purely Cajun Seasoning
Crust:
Mix all ingredients well and press down into 9×13 baking dish, or TWO 9×13 baking dishes if you would prefer a thinner crust. Poke holes in the crust to allow room for shrinkage. Bake at 400 degrees for about 15-20 minutes. May need to drain off excess liquid.
Italian Sausage:
Mix all ingredients well and pan fry over medium heat til done, adding water if needed. About 10 minutes.
Toppings:
Get all of your topping ingredients chopped as your crust and sausage are cooking. When the crust is done, layer ingredients in this order. Rao’s Sauce, half of bell peppers, spinach, tomatoes, cheese, other half of bell peppers, mushrooms, Italian sausage, purple onions, Purely Cajun. Bake in oven at 400 for about 15 minutes. Enjoy!
