Beef & Vegetable Soup

3lbs Chopped Beef Stew Meat

1lb Smoked Chicken Sausage, quartered

1tsp grapeseed oil

1 can organic diced low sodium tomatoes (puree further)

3 small heads of cabbage, chopped in large pieces, washed

2 16oz bags of frozen green beans

1 large onion, chopped

3 – 32oz low sodium chicken broth

Purely Cajun Seasoning


On a medium fire, brown beef in tsp oil, when almost browned, add smoked sausage quartered and continue to brown. May need to add a bit of water or chicken broth for sticking. When browned, add onions and cook til transparent. Again, you may need to add a bit of water or chicken broth for sticking. Add can of pureed tomatoes, then green beans, then cabbage then broth, then Purely Cajun. Cook until veggies are desired texture. Can add additional water or broth if necessary. Separate into servings and serve. Enjoy!

Makes 10 servings. Per Serving: 1 lean protein, 3 vegetables, 3 condiments
